In October 2016, I was invited to attend the Nepal Early Childhood Education Conference in Kathmandu. I delivered a workshop to Early Childhood practitioners and discussed how observation and assessment are key aspects when working with young children. This opportunity enabled me to establish links with some schools and associations in Nepal which I still often offer support to. I connected with children in the village of Lele and learnt that interactions with people who lead simple lives are truly enriching. The bond I developed with some of the families inspired some of the research I have carried out since and certainly left a print in my heart.
