I attended the Nursery World Show in Liverpool as part of the NEyTCO Team. I supported in the Training and Consultancy Zone throughout the day and met Early Years practitioners from all over the North West. During the discussions with practitioners, I answered questions about observation procedures. It was interesting to dig into the reasons why observations should be used to highlight children’s emotional needs. The conversations were very productive and I developed some connections with Early Years settings at this event. Following my visit to the Nursery World Show, I started working with some independent settings. I have helped them develop mamy observation and assessment procedures since.
I always love these kind of events. This is how people get to hear about my passion for emotional development and human interactions.
